Can you tell me if you've seen evidence of the bugs, like eggs, or actual bugs themselves? I have been thinking I may have bedbugs but haven't seen any evidence...other than occasional bites, which may come from walking around outside at night.
Anyway, I think I can do a heat treatment here in AZ. Just go away and leave the AC off for several hours.
It takes a heat of over 130 degrees, and longer than a few hours. Along with the pesticides, and visually finding the bug and killing it. Buy a high quality mattress cover, and put it on the mattress after you vacuum it on both sides. Pay attention to the seams.
Google "bedbugs" and learn.
Open all cabinets, and remove all drawers, turning them over and looking for the "black spots" and bugs. Again vacuum. This must be done every day for at least 3 weeks maybe longer. Make sure you also check the walls around the bed all the way up to and including the ceiling. The bugs will try to escape the pesticides you spray on the floor and bed.
Make sure all clothing is washed and put in the drier. High heat.
If you have access to a pest control supplier, there is a product made by Bayer that looks like a white chalk that you mix with water and put in a spray bottle. It is expensive, but along with everything else, you can eradicate the bugs.
SuspendGood luck.
