Price doesn't matter, bedbugs don't discriminate. They could care less how much money you have.

It is NOT a good gauge. Bedbugs don't scan the room price before "checking in."

One was $100/night and it had them too.

If a hotel can have bed bugs so can your RV and your house. From wikipedeia:

I think everyone is overly hung up on Hotels and bed bugs. If you travel, and see other people in the vicinity you can get them.

Oh, we use our RV for traveling, not camping.

Its not that easy. From what I've read, its very difficult to get rid of them once you get them. Can cost thousands. The only sure fire way is heat treatment of 130 degrees for a number of hours. Since they outlawed DDT there is nothing that can effectively kill them.
