I do
A similar process but use a 25 gallon tote and store. I pump the poop through inch and a half hose and into a 3 inch bayonet adapter to the tote tank in truck. Drive truck dump station and use dump hose/fittings.


How do you dump the aquatainer without getting doused with ??

Your last line says it all.Once you have a large tote a whole world of non FHU sites becomes available.
Ultimately it not about the tote but it is about having access to a lot more camping options

i wasnt happy about not getting the site i booked, but i didnt want it to spoil the weekend. anyways, ordered a 42 gallon Barker with the air wheels. i also ordered a flojet macerator pump. that way i can just fill it and empty it from the bed of truck. sounds like a lazy mans solution but it looks like the Army's cutting my back open again (3rd time) and i was pretty weak for awhile after the last surgery. dont want a tank of poo giving me more trouble.

42 gallon barker is what I have. Besides having a great tote. Barker provides excellent customer service should you need assistance

sometime in the near future im going to be doing an extended stay in the camper and the place im looking at staying has a signifigant savings using a water/electric only site and a site with full hookups. also, my last trip to a thousand trails had me in an electric/water site even though i booked full hookups. they charged me $25 for a honeywagon service. if that happens again a honeywagon will pay for itself fairly quickly.

There wouldn't be an "AGAIN" with me, if I book a full hookup site, that's exactly what I expect.

You don't. :M Once a few years ago we were at Lake George RV Park right at the end of the season and anxious staff had closed the dump station for the year. No worries, I took my full grey water Aquatainers in the back of the vehicle over to the nearest bath house which coincidentally was located on a hillside. The actual bathrooms were down a flight of stairs on the lower floor so I can't say I enjoyed carrying 60 lbs of full Aquatainers down the stairs and disposing of the contents in the toilet but at least I had the choice ... with a wheeled tote tank I don't know what I'd have done as there would have been no other option for disposing of that grey water other than just letting it run out on the ground as I wasn't going to tow 600 km home with a full GW tank.

get the Barker 32 gallon with 4 air filled wheels.. easy to pull to truck. over gravel/sand/grass...
at Edisto beach state park the dump station is over 1 mile away.. on pavement.. the air filled tires are great on pavement or gravel even at 20 mph. others are not.. as many plastic wheels failed there.

there customer service is second to NONE..

the side valve is very handy... do not try to assemble the hose that comes with it.. get one already made.. not same as hose from trailer to sewer pipe.
like $15.00 at Camp World.

we have 40 and 40 tanks. 3 times a week to dump station.
