Best Honey wagon

I'm not sure if im posting this in the right place. whats the best honey wagon to spend your money on? when i say best, to me that means ease of use and durability. also what size do you reccommend. both my black and grey tanks are 40 gallons and i think a 40 gallon wagon will be a little to much for me to pull. i'm leary of pulling it behind my truck because i wont be able to see it.

sometime in the near future im going to be doing an extended stay in the camper and the place im looking at staying has a signifigant savings using a water/electric only site and a site with full hookups. also, my last trip to a thousand trails had me in an electric/water site even though i booked full hookups. they charged me $25 for a honeywagon service. if that happens again a honeywagon will pay for itself fairly quickly.

If I was doing a lot of camping without hookups and had a TT I would think a nice fifty or a hundred gallon tank in the back of the truck and a maceration pump and garden hose would come in pretty handy. Just pump into the tank in the bed and dump at a station. You would not have to worry about keeping the black and grey separate. JMHO

    Thats a pretty cool idea...
  • If you are buying one you can tote around, don't make the mistake of getting a huge one. It will be heavy when it is time to lift it up so you can drain it. Bigger is not always better. I have about a 25 gallon tank but I don't use it much. I try to get full hook ups when I can. Mine is light blue and I think it is a Barker.
