Gotta love the CG 'helpers'. ....The 'helpers' don't pay the bills if something is hit.....Never had to rudely shut one down but more than a few have figured that this couple have parked their largish rig in some pretty tight spots before. Leave them alone......
I wished I had.:(
I have only encountered ONE CG helper in all of my 8 years+ on the road. In my experience.....that 'one' is lucky to be alive.
Pulled in late at night, had reservations for a pull thru, they had the specs of my rig.
I was told it was 'required' that I follow him in and could not enter the park without him walking in front of me guiding me to the site.
I slowly follow him at night no lights in the park and he turned right and walked into the site, and I follow him into the site.
As I make the turn at a right angle part way in, there right smack in front of me is a concrete bumper!!
I am 31 ft towing a toad.
I now have my coach at a 45 degree angle, can not pull forward and can not back out without taking the toad off.
Only thing is the tow bar is at a sharp 45 degree angle and the pins are pinched so tight I'd need a jack hammer to get them out.
I looked at him straight in the eyes and told him to
"run, run as fast as you can away from me if you value your life." :R
