Once many years we were the helpers. We usually don't offer but in this case we thought we would save the guy a lot of heart ache. We were camping on Lone Rock beach at Lake Powell and over the years seen many people get stuck in the sand. The guy next to us had a 5th wheel and a 2 wheel drive truck on the sand. :S We could see he was starting to get stuck as he was pulling out so we asked if he would like us to help tow him up. He rudely refused our offer and continued to bury his truck up to the axle. He came over shortly after and asked if we could help him. We told him what would have been a 10 minute job would now be all day and we were not willing to donate that much of our vacation. He left about 12 hours later after finding someone to tow his truck and trailer up seperately.
