RotoChoks do work better; they stay off the ground and don't get muddy. I packed up this morning after 4 days of intermittent hard rain. Chocks were dry when I removed them, the ground was wet. As mentioned, they also stabilize the trailer. Mine have been worth every dollar I paid for them. At some point, resale will be nice.
I imagine I could spit out or drive over most of the things mentioned. My RotoChoks will skid all four tires on asphalt.
