a couple of years ago we installed a Chromed Black RV Lock V1.0 on our camper .... it has a remote and separate keypad .... all remotes locks I've seen also have a key which can be used if/when the batteries go bad .... we replaced the ones in ours with Lithium batteries and they have been in use for over a year .... if/when we move to another camper I plan to reinstall the OEM lock and move the RV Lock to the next camper
