rockhillmanor, did you even read the post??? The rig was FULLY COVERED EXCEPT WHEN NOT IN USE. The owner is splitting to cost with me on new tires.
And you can verify this - come on
X2!
To the OP, Yes I read the post.
Fully covered does not necessarily mean the owner had 'tire covers' on it. See it all the time, more often than not, they cover the RV and leave the tires hanging out. BTW: Those tires HAVE been left out hanging in the sun.
One of the manuals that came with the rig says Michelin does not cover dry rot.
So why you are trying to get money out of Michelin? The owner gave you an allowance for the tire conditions.
I see you took full advantage of my misprint. Nice.
It's nice to know you have more knowledge of this rig than I do.
Fully covered means an RV carport with full sides.
I said I will show them to Michelin and see what they say, but am not holding my breath they will do anything. Never said I was "trying to get money out of them".
Man, some people need to chill and get out of attack mode.
Sounds like everything was resolved satisfactorily. I would just add, if the RV carport is the type with metal sides; I have seen them get very hot baking in the sun. That could certainly hasten the rot seen in the pics.
