The first thing to the O/P is, do not let a few malcontents chase you off. You are giving in to bully's. Second, do not be so easily offended.....
Now to the point.....this scam has been around for awhile, but I have not heard about it in awhile. I was in Beaver, UT earlier this year, and I remembered these stories and thus, stayed away from the fuel stations. I for one am glad you alerted us that it is still going on. With your evidence of conspiracy, you may want to reach out to the Federal Trade Commission.
Another issue is with your credit card company. The tire dealer is going to fight this charge back....especially for $6,000. You should replace the tires and make arrangements to ship the fraud ones back to the tire dealer. Keep all of the documents and print out the tire load ratings and have your RV weighed. TAKE PICTURES of the tires and make sure you get a delivery receipt of the tires back at Beaver, UT.
