In June, when I realized we had been ripped off by Sportys To Go Tire/Auto Repair at the Flying J in Beaver UT, I contacted the Salt Lake City Tribune and a person there who had published an article about these scams back in 2015. I sent him my entire packet ( 73 pages) of the information I researched with regard to my "experience". It appears he is now doing a series on this whole out and out fraud being perpetrated on unsuspecting and trusting RVer's.
I thought I'd share these articles ( and any future ones) so you can spread far and wide amount our RV community to hopefully insure no one gets ripped off again--or better yet--these guys are no longer around to besiege us.
Southern Utah tire shop cited by state regulators for defrauding I-15 travelers - The Salt Lake Tribune
Have you been pitched tires in central and southern Utah? Even a legislator has a story. - The Salt Lake Tribune
BTW, the BBB of Utah has published my "negative" as well. I have yet to hear anything from the Utah Division of Consumer Protection who was sent my 73 page document several weeks ago.
