bias ply tires
It appears that the R-Vision I bought, has Bias ply tires. Should I go back with those or Radials. Thanks Jim

the weight rating posted on the sidewall is the quantifiable measure of a good tire .
brand is less important than that .
in a 14 inch tire there is nothing i have found that exceeds 2271 # weight rating .
as gmwphoto and fast eagle have already pointed out the Kumho 857 is a logical best choice if staying with a 14 inch tire .
Kumho 857 is :
205R14 load range D with an LT rating
speed rated for 106 mph instead of the 65 mph ST rating
2271 # rated for the 205R14 size.
On my boat trailer with these 14 inch Radials I can push it around the RV stall even after it has been sitting all winter .
Lower rolling resistance than the original bias ply tires .
