Birds ruined my sewer hose

I have been using Blu Line sewer hoses for the past twelve years and have always been satisfied, however our last outing caused me to lose 1 15 foot hose and 2 10 foot hoses before I found out what was causing the many sudden leaks. While sitting around enjoying a drink I noticed these rather large sharp billed black birds,(smaller than a crow)punch holes in my neighbors sewer line. That's when I realized what was plugging my hoses. For the rest of the trip I had to disconnect and store my sewer hose after each use. I am now in the process of buying new hoses and am looking at the Valterra Viper. Anybody out there have any experience with this hose and are they worth the money? Thanks for your help.

    The same birds followed you?
  • We put while plastic rain gutters sections covering our hose in Arizona to protect it from the sun. Then we had a big hail storm and every around us lost their hosts! But not ours! Hail was round little discs with sharp edges and it went right through between the wires. Chris
  • Rather desperate birds :h

I have never heard of this happening.
