Birds tapping at rear RV windows . . . advise please.

Is this something to worry about or what? Yesterday, DW complained about a small brownish bird with a yellow crown first hitting and then "tapping" at our RV's rear windows. Well, folks it's morning...

My Mom hangs a rubber snake over her porch light on her house. It scares away the birds and keeps them from building a nest there. She also hides the snakes in her hanging flower baskets because the birds liked to build nests there as well. Maybe a rubber snake draped over the window will help.
