Birds tapping at rear RV windows . . . advise please.

Is this something to worry about or what? Yesterday, DW complained about a small brownish bird with a yellow crown first hitting and then "tapping" at our RV's rear windows. Well, folks it's morning...

Had one that covered our passenger side mirror and coach in bird feces. Pecking away at the mirror. I cleaned it up and tied a plastic shopping bag from the grocery store on the shaft. It blows around with the wind and problem no more.
