BTDT lots of times. No new truck needed. Have set the cruise plenty of times at 3500 rpm and about 28 mph locked in low gear. If people were passing they were sailing along at maybe 35mph big whoop. The real fun begins when you are full throttle in low gear and the speed keeps dropping. :B
