Those are baby mountains compared to the western USA.
Well thank you Mr. Moderator for enlightening us....Mission TX, 141' above sea leveli?? Brainerd, around 1200'? molehills:) (I'm at about 2200')... El-Paso, the Guadalupe Mountains are a beautiful Mountain range, higher than anything east of the Mississippi, but easily maneuvered...I've driven from Texarkana to El-Paso and on that trip, didn't see much more than mole hills until I got nearer to El-Paso...awesome scenery, but got bored with long straight stretches...Love the mountains:)
AH yes but our preferred travel states are MT, ID, CO, WA WY & OR.
Looking forward to visiting all those states....You really need to come to West Virginia and visit my camp, it's in the mountains on a river and the secondary road I spend about 45 miles on is one of the "twistiest" bunch of ESS curves going up and down and all around the mountains that I'd bet you would love, several 10- 12% grades....speed up, slow down, towing a 39' 9" 5er with a 1 ton long bed dually can be challenging..........I'm still working and it's WV, TN, NC, SC and VA for now....beautiful mountains, if you never spent any time in them, you might want to check them out one day if you have the time to travel.:)
