I'm not sure where I got the incorrect elevation number online, it was obviously wrong and been corrected, several times.
I don't know if it's 1,000 ft or 10,000 ft, I just know I didn't like the feeling of running out of juice like that.
Who know's, might keep it and just keep my butt out of the mountains from now on!
Otherwise I'd like to find my exact truck with the dmax.

Your truck is rated to pull 9800, your TT is rated at 9975. I'm sure it is fine on the flats, but if you pull on the hills a supercharger or newer diesel would make your towing experience much better....that is a BIG trailer @ 35.5 ft and towing with only 300hp and 360 tq.
Good thing the wife is on board, if you can afford it, go for it!
