Black Streak Remover

I can't read the bottle very well, but my question for the product would be does it take the wax off too.

You know it does. That's why I remove the black streaks with wax. One easy step, and done

Don't know about that product but the one I use does NOT take the wax off. Been using it for years to remove black streaks.

Every time I remove black streaks I have to apply a couple of coats of wax to get it looking right again. So now I remove black streaks with a marine cleaner wax and one coat of regular wax. :) Eliminates one step. Regular cleaning of the roof and washing and waxing the sides seems to prevent the black streaks. Still a lot of work no matter what. Did I mention I hate those black streaks!

The gold/yellow cleaner sold for $1 at Dollar Tree and other dollar stores does a great job if you let it stay on for 30 seconds or so.

Just spray on Simple Green, let it set for a couple minutes and wipe it off.

Simple Green is strong stuff. It will remove wax.

How easy the black streak comes off depends on what it is on. Gelcoat sides here & a good quality marine sealant used so most streaks come off easily using the automotive/RV wash in the pink bottle. About a capfull of it per bucket is all that is needed. It does not strip the wax.

I imagine streak removal from filon sides & aluminium sides will be much more difficult.

Washing the roof a few times a year helps too.

Maybe im lucky, but black streaks on my trailer come off really easy. a simple wash. no elbow grease required. I keep my roof clean and wax the TT once in the spring and again in the fall. and I use meguiars ultimate wash and wax when ever i giver her a bath.

you can walk up to the TT and simply wet your finger and rub the streak and it will come off. that easy.
