When you go through this routine, use a hose or a 5 gallon plastic bucket to pour down the toilet. There's not much in terms of volume when trying to fill with the toilet pedal valve. Also 10-15 minutes of standing on the pedal is making your water pump work extra hard. Just my opinion....
