How long do folks normally run their black tank flush?

"Till the water runs clear"? - You guys using your black tank for drinking water or what?
I drain the tank, give it a 2 minute flush to ensure all the solids are gone and move along so the next guy can dump. It's a holding tank for poo, how clean does it need to be? It's going to get dirty again next use.
