My tank went from all lights on to none (one occasionally) by following those to simple directives. In fact I didn't use my tank flusher for one season until I was ready to winterize and gave the tank a cursory cleaning.
Disagree. The only time my black tank doesn't have any content other than a few gallons of fresh water is when we're heading out on a trip as I never use campground dump stations and always tow home with content in the tank, servicing it at home using my Flojet Waste Macerator. No issues with my tank monitors, though I ignore them anyway. ;)
