So we don't have a hitch on the back of our tow vehicle to pull it to the dump station. Any suggestions? I know they get heavy.
Thanks
Do you mean your toad?
How can you tow something with a tow vehicle without a tow hitch?
Simple.. They tow a 5-er, They have a hitch, it's just IN THE BED, not on the back.
What I'd do.
The blue boys come in several sizes. The smaller ones the tow adapter (If any) is a ring, this will simply slip into a Pintle hook or over a "post" If you have a bumper with a a hole you could likely use an "S" hook or a "T" bar with pin to tow. (make sure it can't hit anything vital if it pushes foreward)
Or you can build a simple hitch or buy a ball and install it in the hole.
I am considering getting a blue tote.. but won't as long as I'm solo (No need) if I do I'll design a part time "tote"hitch for my car.
In another forum is a picture of someone who attched his ball hitch using a piece of wood.. This would actually work for a tote tank.
