Their border their rules, don't have any choice except to comply or don't cross. Some times I get inspected and other times I pass right through.
One time going up to Thunder Bay I must of come during shift change. They had me pull over to the inspection area and promptly forgot about me. After about half a hour I went inside and they thought I had already been inspected. Custom agent came out and did a very quick inspection and sent me on my way. No harm done just a little break from driving.
