Mar 30, 2014It is a royal PIA. I have the same type of trailer that uses a 5-pin connector. If your TV is not wired with a 5-pin connection, you must insert that metal thingy in the slot to be able to back up without having the brakes lock up. I use duct tape to hold it in place.
If your TV has a 7-pin connection, you can buy an adapter and you won't have to worry about locking up your brakes when backing up.
