We bought our first fiver on Ebay, an 8 year old Sportsmaster, at a great price. Asked a bazillion questions, requested and received a bazillion photos. Their story was it'd only seen maybe 6 trips ever.Paid through Paypal, which has a guarantee of a sort. Hubby and his buddy drove the truck from Minnesota to Buffalo New York to pick it up. It looked to be perfect, no issues whatsoever getting it home. Next weekend, first trip out (mind you, we were newbies), 3 flat tires that blew out the fender skirting. Old tires, you see, and insurance covered it. That was the only issue. Maybe we were just really lucky, but it can be done. Perhaps someone on this forum that lives nearby could be induced to go look at it for you. We did that when we were looking for our second fiver, ended up buying locally.
