Braking System for my Chevy Colorado

I have got my 2007 Colorado almost set up to tow. I am researching suplimental braking systems and I really like the looks of the RVi 3. My only concern is the low profile with this product and the shallow floor pan, will it have enough support to apply the brake? Anyone out there have any dealings with this issue? Thank you in advance.
  • Works great as long as there's some sort of lip or edge below the seat to prevent it sliding back.

My F150 has a sloped rise under the seat, so I use a wood block cut to fit that prevents the brake actuator trying to slide back under the seat.
  • I would recommend something like the Demco Stay N Play Duo Nothing to put in or out when you want to drive your towed vehicle. There are tons of YouTube videos out there on all of them.
  • You don’t say what he Motorhome is nor what Type Of Brakes it has!
Our Dutch Star has Air Brakes.
    We tow a Honda CRV.
The Braking system is by Brakemaster!

Despite the fact that there are no regulatory bodies interested and there is no kind of certification of components used ,it works remarkably well!

X2. I've used this system since 2006 on my Canyon.
