Oh we've discussed getting out and finding land. It's definitely on the horizon. My wife is always having me look at different properties she's seen. So it will be sooner rather than later for us. I hate where we are. People everywhere, right across from a high school. Was my wife's house growing up and she got it after her parents passed.
Our next place will be 5 acres minimum with boat and trailer storage and work shop. These are my wife's ideas. I agree.
Friend built a new home in the country. People broke in and stole the copper wiring and plumbing. He put up game camera's. A week later they came back and stole all the construction tool's. The game cameras did not have a clear enough image to catch them. They wife no longer felt safe and they sold the home and moved back to town.
I would talk to the sheriff in your area before I made such a move. As far as having the RV at home its convenient. But it also sends a red flag when it's gone (unless it's enclosed) that your not home. After having a car amplifier stole from my vehicle I put up a camera system. Where I store my RV they have a camera system as well.
