Glad to hear things weren't too bad for you. We live on the north side of the Metroplex and ours was broken into in May. They tossed ours, stole about $400 worth of stuff, took about $30 of quarters, and did $1600 of damage to the door and its frame. Just heard from the shop and the new door finally shipped yesterday. I don't think I'll leave it locked while in storage again.
Benbrook area for us and we store by Ridgemar mall. Have used this place for years and never a problem. Sometimes it just happens.
