neighbors are key..
We live in a small town.. for us its the reverse.
the HOME empty for months.
when we return. Wife makes a killer Pumpkin pie.
she takes one to each neighbor with wiped cream and vanilla ice cream as a thank you .. keeping and eye on the house. and parking there cars in our driveway.
and YES our trailer is parked in our backyard when home. between house and garage.. with outside lights from both.
but to the storage issue. this spring several camp grounds with storage areas. were hit. some with little damage and others with TV's and such had the most damage.
maybe leaving some of the blinds open a little.. so they can see in and SEE the easy stuff is already gone.
