When eating meals I have a strict no phone, no tv policy. I am pretty lax the rest of the time I think. It's hard because they aren't my kids and the GF doesn't enforce the no phone during dinner policy as much as I do. Very annoying. I grew up in a house that didn't watch tv during dinner and we always ate as a family and talked about our day. New generation doesn't seem to be that way or even care. I realize I probably didn't care at that age either, but as I grew up, it was something I appreciated more than I knew.
