4. My favorite tactic is to ask questions: "who's your favorite friend to text?" respond to a giggle with "hey - share the joke!" or even show them something funny on YOUR phone. Share a little of your camping world - let them share a bit of their electronic world. You never know - they might actually be texting someone that they're having an awesome time!
