This RV owner has posted on Rv.Net before. It is a great RV, with 16 solar panels if I recall right. He stated that in Europe, they have 8 amp 220 volt plugs for the RV's to plug into. Not enough to run a electric heater, and his inverter/charger was 120 volts input, so he could not recharge the battery from shore power. However the solar and driving (normally that class 8 chassis has a 150 - 250 amp alternator) kept the battery full, even though all the appliances ran from the inverter and battery power.
I would like to have something like that, but probably would pick a longer wheelbase 2 axle truck in the 26,000 GVWR range. Three axle trucks run upwards of 33,000 GVWR, perhaps even 50,000 GVWR. This is much more expensive than a 2 axle truck, and you can reduce the weight enough to stay within the 26,000 GVWR, and still have a 2,500 pound cargo rating - even with a full 100 gallon fresh water tank.
Great to see more pictures of the RV and find out it's cost and design pictures where great too.
Hopefully the owner will say something - if he is not out flying around the world in commercial jets. Yes many Ex-Navy pilots now fly the commercial jets we enjoy so much.
Fred.
