Likely a sales tactic. Any salesman wants you to buy today, or come back to buy as soon as possible.
We had already downsized, gotten rid of most everything and were living in an apartment by the time we purchased our RV.
Before we we went into the dealer, we checked loan options with our credit union and personal bank.Knew our options.Turns out the dealer was able to get us a better rate from his resources. Shocked the heck out of us, in a pleasant way. The information the dealer provided let us know we were being treated fairly.
If you have not already, I recommend you research everything possible including delivery time frame, delivery prep charges, financing and insurance costs (full or part time) for the model you are considering before you return to the dealer.
You will have solid information to work with and points for negotiation should you elect to purchase.
