Since the majority of the RVer's are probably not in compliance anyway I would just drive it there and take the drive test. I don't think they will question it; I have been to that office and you are lucky that you are going to the Bishop DMV Office, at least they have some employees with common sense, unlike the DMV Office we have down South. I have a Class A non-commercial.
