Ron dumb question
Do you need a California Licensed driver or would a driver from out of state with an out of state licence do after all they are legal in there state??
Well the above question made me think about this for California if Ron or any other MH owner / driver of a California registered MH needed to have someone drive there MH to residence or campground due to any reason would that be legal??? I do understand about length and width resurrections but in general terms can I drive your California registerd rig legally with my SD licence in California??
Ron if I was not out of state now I would try and help but I really do have a SD Lic and will not be in California till February

Well Jim... that is a good question. But no, it (my temp license) specifically states: "Must be accompanied by a Calif licensed driver age 18 or over who has a non-probationary license valid for the vehicle being driven".
I do thank you for your offer.
Ron
