Thanks everyone.
I haven't had an issue yet with water pressure being too high. (I did have one trip where the kitchen faucet was dripping even when turned off.)
I'm thinking I might keep the reducer just in case I run into a RV park where they are specifically warning campers about abnormally high water pressure and only use it then. I'll also look into buying a better pressure reducer and make sure there's no proposition 65 warnings on the package :). I figure the amount of lead involved must be minimal, but still just the idea that it's there makes me want to avoid using it.
