I agree with wowens79, I don't think the OP was being unreasonable. It is one thing for a camp host to not be available to deal with a noisy neighbor, but if the only way to buy something is from the camp host, I think the camp host should make him/herself available or have some other way to make a purchase. If he/she is going to be gone all day, they should at least leave a note on their door.
