One state park I was at in Ga had wood next to the camp host spot with a secured cash box. Note said drop $5 in the box and take 5 logs. Easy peesy, no issues. Granted, requires folks to be honest, but most of us are. Plus it was within easy viewing of not only camp host, but the office, and other campers.
