We were camping at South Toledo Bend State Park (LA) a couple of years ago and after arriving and setting up camp we took a walk. As the DW & I walked along we would occasionally pick up/drag fallen limbs for the campfire. Almost back to our site the campground host stopped us and asked if we were gathering wood for a fire. Immediate thought was OH-OH, busted for something we were unaware of. Can't we pick up fallen wood for the fire?
Instead he asked: "How much wood do you need? I got a bunch already cut and a wheelbarrow. I'll bring it over. Where's you site?"
Couldn't ask for better than that!
