I wouldn't take that "bullying baloney" from any camper like that ... especially from someone probably as much physically smaller than myself than that woman most likely was.
I'm about 6'2" and around 230 lbs., so I'd politely tell her to get lost after rationally explaining that she was way, way out of line. She really had some kind of guts approaching men with any attempt at bullying. Anyone bigger than what she probably was would after a discussion with me maybe get a two-handed blast of pepper spray from me first and a visit from a ranger and/or LEO next - to drive the point home.
There is no need to tolerate this kind of stuff in campgrounds regardless of whether the perpetrator had been either drinking or on something.
