Campground Generator Use During Power Outages
We do all our camping in full service campgrounds. For obvious reasons, they normally don't allow generator use. My question is will they normally allow temporary generator use if there is a power out...

I ran my generator in a park every afternoon when the temp reached the mid 90's and the park voltage to my spot went to 90 to 95 volts. They were not happy, told me they lost one customer who turned down the site next to me because of the generator (told them their lost customer should thank me), but they never volunteered to refund my money. They just "never understood" why there was a probliem. Just "never happened before". And on and on. I was happy to get out of there and I'm sure they were happy to see me go.
