In today's world I have no patience for campground staff that do not know if they are in an area that receives a stated wireless service, especially if it is one of the major carriers. I am also tired of getting assigned a site that has a tree blocking the satellite signal when I specifically ask for a satellite friendly site and was told that it wouldn't be a problem. I am in RV parks/campgrounds (at least 30 different ones) for at least six months a year. This has become a deal breaker for me and will cause me to remove that park from all future visits and give it a bad review for incompetent staff. There is no excuse for not knowing if your park receives Verizon or not knowing which sites are satellite friendly. As you may have guessed, we do not camp, we tour and use or coach as our home wherever we may be visiting.
You will be properly treated at our parks. Our staff is trained to NEVER promise cell phone coverage, wifi coverage or satellite availability. How am I supposed to KNOW if your phone will work, or YOUR satellite dish will find a signal or YOUR computer will connect and work on our network? We will tell you certain phone networks have worked for others, people use our wifi trouble free every day and many guests use their satellite systems, but we won't guarantee your setups will work.
