My fav state park CG is usually a once a month destination. When I had a Blackberry there was never an issue but it was only a 1G application. I thought a 4G Droid with Verizon would be absolutely, positively fine. Very disappointed since the coverage map says all is well and it is in between two major market areas. However, the tree shrouded CG is at a dead end on a peninsula with the Chesapeake Bay on one side and a large river on the other. So, although I understand the topographical dilemma the fact Internet is usually non-existent or marginal at best and phone calls are dropped regularly, I still head up there since it is a great place. As previously posted, I do not believe it is practical or incumbent for a CG to even begin to identify the myriad of reception possibilities. I am tickled to death just for the electric working properly!
