We've been camp hosts in five different State Parks in TX, CO, WY, UT. In pure numbers, we've found most are respectful regarding trash. Those who are problematic are those in greater numbers or drinkers. Finally, the biggest problem with trash are the youngsters. We've encountered several Boy Scout groups of various sizes from 8 to 50. 75% of the time they leave more trash and really messy table tops and fire pits than any other. Leaves a poor taste in our mouth for The Boy Scout groups, especially the leaders who allow it. It is what it is in our experience.
