It didn't. I merely pointed out that when parents stopped smacking their kids in the ass for doing something wrong, the kids stopped respecting right and wrong and CAMPGROUND PIGS is one of the results.
I also raise the issue! I don't condone beating kids, but I know the thought of the repcrussions for doing something very bad did help keep me and many friends from going the wrong directions.
Pay attention to kids around you and their behavor! We have seen way too many parents reward bad behavior! Thing like giving in to crying and give the child something they want, but didn't earn by good behavor. They get because the parent want to be a buddy not a parent!
Yes excessive corpural punishment can cause life long trama, but lack of any can also lead to continued bad behavor!
If there is no real repercussion for bad behavor, the bad behavor will continue.
