We camp in Ohio State Park campsites throughout the summer and have traveled throughout the country for 30+ years. Our experiences have been pretty positive. We have rarely been around trashed sites or restrooms. Our system has always been that DH pulls out of the site and I check it to make sure all is well and the site is perfectly clean. That has helped us over the years. Darn vent left open on pop up, purse on the picnic table, dog leash beside picnic table, electric plugged in... well you get my point.
