My experience is I pay $35 to $45 per night for full hookup and cable. We usually do not stay more than 4 nights so we do not get the weekly rate. You save money by cooking meals in the RV. Easting out is really expensive these days. However, you are using more fuel getting there. It is a lifestyle that you want and not really a way to save money. We like being able to bring the dog, cook our own food and sleep in our own bed. We like the places we can stay where there is no hotel. We like the people we meet at the campground. If I had to stay in hotels, I would not travel much. It would not be near as enjoyable.
