Pulled our camper into a middle Tenn state park for 5 days last week. Rolled in Sunday afternoon and our site was bordered on one side with a group of early twenties males (and a few gals) with 4 tents on one site, hammocks in the trees, three dogs and 3-4 cars. The other side was a young couple from New York and across from us was a family of 8 with three more dogs, in two tents and also sleeping in two cars. Sounds like a recipe for a bad week right?
Well, ironically, not a single problem. Music was never loud, no swearing, no drunken parties nor obnoxious behaviour. Several of the dogs had bark collars and none ever barked more than once every so often.
They were all a pleasant surprise and welcome neighbors over some of the snobs in high dollar RVs we've encountered. My suspicions were completely wrong this time and I'm happy to say so.
