There are so many choices of gear from pup tents to Class A's. And there's so many ways to camp from boondocking to RV resorts. And there are just as many reasons to go, from getting away from home and work for awhile, to visiting places we've never seen before in this huge country.
I'm single, retired and drive a 'C', pulling a toad. I travel to see places I've never been before, or return to places I loved. I stay in KOAs or other FHU CGs, and don't mind paying the price for the comfort and amenities, even if I don't use all of them. I'm glad that other folks make different choices, because it leaves room for me.
I suppose that's why we all go RVing. We get to do it the way we want to.
